Wolfgang Suhnholz Director of Soccer
Wolfgang holds an USSF "A" License and was named in 1988 as USYSA South Texas Coach of the Year. Prior to AUCSC, he was the Director and Co-Founder of the Capital Soccer Club. He was the Head Coach for the U-20 US National Team from 1999-2001, U-20 US Assistant National Team Coach from 1998-1999, and currently is the Head Coach for the Region III ODP 86 boys. Wolfgang played professionally for 18 years in Germany, Switzerland and the US, where he played for Bayern Munich. Ben Crawley Director of Junior Girls' Program
Ben hold a USSF "A" Licence and is currently a STYSA ODP Staff Coach. Prior to AUCSC, he was the Girls Director for the Capital Soccer Club, as well as staff coach for 6 years. Ben has played professionally in Germany, was a three-time National Champion at the University of Virginia, and played for U-16, U-18 and U-20 National teams. In addition, he was a member of the MLS's DC United team that captured the inaugural MLS Cup and the US Open Cup Crown.
Brad O'Kelley Director of Senior Girls' Program
Brad holds an USSF "B" License, National Youth License, and Goalkeeper License. In addition, he holds the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, passing with Distinction, as well as the NSCAA National Youth Diploma. He is the former Boys varsity coach at Bowie High School. Additionally, he was the former Women's Head coach at Southwest Texas State University and former Men's and Women's Head coach at St. Mary's University. He is on the STYSA ODP State and Coaching Education Staff. As a player, he played Semi-professionally with the Austin Lone Stars.
Manuel Buentello Director of Junior Boys' Program
Manuel holds an USSF "A" License and is on the STYSA ODP State Staff. He was the Former Director of XLR8 Soccer Club. Former USISL and collegiate coach for Incarnate Word College. Manuel was also a semi-professional Player with the San Antonio Heat.

Rob Weaver Director of Senior Boys' Program
Rob holds an USSF "A" License and is the current Head Coach for the STYSA ODP 88 Boys team. Prior to AUCSC, he was the Boys Director for for the Capital Soccer Club, as well as staff coach for 9 years. In addition, he is the former Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper for the Austin Lone Stars professional soccer team. Rob played professionally as a DI player in El Salvador and Mexico and was Two times All American at Incarnate Word University in San Antonio.
David Winner Director of Goalkeepers
David holds an USSF "B" License, as well as the NSCAA Level 1 Goalkeeper Diploma. He is currently a STYSA ODP Coach. He has years of coaching experience with various colleges, including Rice University as the Women's Varsity Assistant Coach, Butler University as the Men's Assistant Coach, and Indiana University at Purdue University in Indianapolis as the Women's Goalkeeper Coach. In addition, David's experience with youth includes Goalkeeper Coach with Texas Premier & Albion Youth Soccer Club, as well as Carmel United Youth Soccer Club.
Blas Jose (BJ) Guerra Director of Development Program
Prior to joining AUCSC, BJ was the Player Development Coordinator for U11-U14 of the Girls and Academy at Warriors Soccer Association. BJ currently holds an USSF "B" License and USSF National Youth License. He was also a trainer for DFW Tejanos Soccer Club in North Texas, where he coached the 89 Girls to the Grand Championship in LHGCL. Additionally, he was a NTSSA ODP Staff Coach, as well as NTSSA and STYSA Instructor. He coached Middle School Boys at the Oakridge Private School in Fort Worth, TX. He played Club Soccer with Dallas Comets, in which they won Dallas Cup VII, as well as collegiately for Central Christian College and the Semi-Pro Div III district in Towada City Japan. Ahmed Farah Boys' Program Coach
Ahmed holds an USSF "C" License and has been coaching with AUCSC since 2000. He currently manages the "Triangle Soccer Camp" for teams through AUCSC. Prior to coaching, Ahmed played for premier soccer clubs in Somalia and UAE.
Bill Kiaune Girls' Program Coach
Bill has both the USSF "B" and National Youth licenses. In additional, he holds the NSCAA National Youth Diploma. He played college soccer at St. Edward's University. Bill then coached college soccer for St. Mary's University, and then for St. Edward's University as an assistant. Prior to joining AUCSC, Bill was with the Chaps Soccer club.
Brendon Whitham Boys' Program Coach
Brendon is a native of Manchester England. He holds a USSF "C" License, and is Head Coach for the St. Michael's Academy boys JV team. He has been coaching for 8 years. This is his 6th year with the AUCSC Select Program.
Chuck Larosche Girls' Program Coach
Chuck holds an USSF "C" National License, as well as both the NSCAA National Diploma and NSCAA National Youth Diploma. Chuck has over 10 years coaching experience with girls select soccer at AUCSC and formerly USA. Chuck has coached 3 different age groups to the Fall, Snickers Cup, and Presidents Cup State Championships. Last year Chuck served as the AUSC Junior Girls Head Coach. He relinquished this position to take up the position of head coach for the AUCSC Girls' Program.
Guillermo Monterd (Memo) Boys' Program Coach
Memo holds a FMF International Coaching License. Prior to AUCSC, he was a Professional Fitness Coach in Mexico.
Jose Gutierrez RecPlus Program Director
Jose holds an USSF "B" License and has coached in the Austin area since 1982. Since 1984, his concentration has been with youths. He was a past Director of Training (Girls Program) for the Warriors Soccer Club, as well as the Chaps Soccer Club. He was also a Director (Junior Program) of the Eagles Girls soccer program. He played in Monterrey, Mexico at the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon as a student where he received an engineering degree.
Josh Will Boys' Program Coach
Josh currently holds an NSCAA National Diploma and USSF "C" License. He played professionally in the "A" League, as well as played college soccer at Centre College in Kentucky.
Lindsay Mijares Girls' Program Coach
Lindsay played as a youth player with United South Austin, where she received a scholarship to play at The University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio. She is now back with her old club, this time to coach. She currently has an USSF National "D" Coaching License and Youth National License. In addition, she holds the NSCAA National Diploma. Lindsay also is the Director of Soccer for Network Groundzero - a community soccer program for underprivileged children taught by college and professional athletics that conduct several drills, games, strategies, and real life lessons throughout the week. Michael Balaban Boys' Program Coach
Michael has an USSF "B" License and is on the STYSA ODP State Staff. As a player, he played professional in Romania. Prior to AUCSC, he was the former Director of Coaching for the San Antonio ACYSO.
Nick Hallam Girls' Program Coach
Nick holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma passing with Distinction, as well as the NSCAA National Youth Diploma. In addition, Nick holds the USSF "B" and National Youth licenses and has the English Football Association (FA) Coaching Certificate. Nick is an NSCAA Associate Staff Member as well as being on the STYSA ODP Staff. Nick is a native of England and played semi-professional soccer there for 4 years. Nick has been the Austin United Director of Recreational Training for 3 years. He relinquished this role in June '03 to take up the position of Head Coach for the AUCSC Girls Program. Nick directed the newly developed AUCSC Travel League Program. Prior to joining AUCSC, Nick was the Assistant Regional Manager and Camp Director for Britannia Soccer Ltd (VA), working in many states across the US for 3 years.
Rick Mussey Girls' Program Coach
Rick has been active in the Austin soccer scene for over 30 years, being one of the original members of the Austin men's soccer league in the early '70s. He was one of the first "select" coaches with SAYSA in the early '80s. During this period he also served as a member of the South Texas State coaching staff and coached the University of Texas women's team for 2 years during their "pre-varsity" era. Rick holds a USSF "B" License, and most recently completed the NSCAA Youth National Diploma course. Rick is in his 4th year as a select coach for the club.
Ron Dennie Boys' Program Coach
Ron holds an USSF "B" License. Prior to AUCSC, he was a coach for the Capital Soccer Club and the Saint Stephen's Episcopal School. Ron has played professionally in the Greek League, as well as Georgetown University. In addition, he was a member of the U17, U18, and U23 Team Florida.
Stuart Self Girls' Program Coach
Stuart holds a USSF "C" License and NSCAA National Youth Diploma. Stuart played with area Division 1 teams until the age of 14, when he spent the remainder of high school running track and playing with local area men's teams. He accepted a full track scholarship to New Mexico State University, specializing in sprints. He has been training youth in the area since 1999, of all ages and levels. In addition, Stuart was involved in the pre-season camp and selection process for the Southwest Texas Men's team.
Zbigniew Pala
Girls' Program Coach
Zbigniew Pala played professionally for 5 years with a Division I Club in Krakow Poland and holds a Polish National Federation "A" coaching license. Zbigniew began his coaching career in 1976 in Krakow, Poland and was the head trainer for the Hutnik Krakow Junior League Soccer Club. Upon moving to the United States, he coached the Polenez Polish-American Club in San Fransisco, California. Zbigniew founded FC International Soccer Club in Austin. Additionally, he was Director of Coaching for Rattler Soccer Association in Cedar Park and Director of the Girl's Program for Longhorn Soccer Club. Zbigniew has had a highly successful career coaching Division I girls soccer in Austin for over 20 years.
