NOTICE TO AUSCS MEMBERSHIP: CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
It is that time of year that we, as a club, look to cultivate new leadership by looking for volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors for the Austin United Capital Soccer Club. This is an opportunity to get involved in our organization and help shape our future. acne treatment
The following positions are up for nomination to serve on the Board of Directors (nomination forms can be found by clicking on the name of the position-all forms are in Word format):

President - 2 year term, elected by the General Membership

Director of Finance - 2 year term, elected by the General Membership

Secretary - 2 year term, elected by the General Membership

Director of Select Soccer - 2 year term, elected by the General Membership

Director of Recreational Soccer - 1 year term to fill vacated position; elected by General Membership

VP of Player/Coach Education - 2 year term, elected by the Executive Committee

VP of Communications - 2 year term, elected by the Executive Committee

VP of Referees - 2 year term, elected by Executive Committee

VP of Select Girls - 2 year term, elected by Girl Team Managers only

VP of U5/U6 - 2 year tem, elected by Age Group Coaches only

VP of U9/U10 - 2 year term, elected by Age Group Coaches only
Job Descriptions for each position can be found in the AUCSC Constitution. Revised Constitution can be found here on the AUCSC Website or a copy is posted in the soccer office.
All Nomination Forms (found by clicking on the name of position above) must be filled out in full and received in the AUCSC office by April 1, 2005 (Attn: Jill Weir). Please note each form requires a certain number of authorized signatures of members in good standing (number of signatures varies to position).
The Nominating Committee will then submit a Slate of Officers and Board Members, as chosen from the submitted nominations no later than April 15th. A petition from the general membership to add a name to be voted on that is not on the proposed Slate of Officers may also be submitted, which would require a written petition accompanied by fifty authorized signatures of members in good standing. The written petition would have to be submitted to the organization’s Secretary ten days in advance of the Annual Membership Meeting. The 2005 Annual Membership Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 18th (time and location to be announced).
