Below are the registration documents and important dates for the AUCSC spring 2005 recreational season. Online registration is now available (link is below). In addition, you can also edit your online registration (link below). Important Dates:
January 7: Deadline to assure placement on same team
January 8: 11:00AM - 6:00 PM. Walk-in registration @ HEB Central Market (4477 S. Lamar)
January 10-13: Extended office hours AUCSC Office; M-TH 5:00 - 8:00PM.
January 17: Late registration begins, first come-first serve per space availability
January 24: Late registration closed. Waiting list accepted
January 31: AUCSC recreational team practices begin
February 12: 1st game of the season

WESTERN DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP
The AUCSC U12B Bulldogs competed in the Western District tournament in Beeville this past weekend. The boys dominated their pool play winning 12-0, 11-0, and 7-0 on Saturday. The Bulldogs advanced to the semifinal round against Granite Country.
The game against Granite Country went as expected in a tough battle. The game started off and the Bulldogs scored 2 goals fairly quickly with Granite Country answering just before halftime. Midway through the second half, Granite Country scored again, tying the score 2-2. Though there was a flurry of activity by both teams near the end, the game ended tied. The game went to a 10 minute golden goal overtime which ended tied as well. A second 10 minute sudden death period again ended tied, sending the game to penalty kicks. The two teams traded goals and each team missed once, leaving the game on the feet of the last two players. The Bulldogs scored and Granite Country missed, sending the Bulldogs to the championship game. the maldives honeymoon, have.
Unfortunately, the semifinal lasted almost two hours and the Bulldogs had barely an hour before the 1pm championship game. Although they played hard, they came up short against Eagle Pass in the Western District championship game losing 3-1. Click here for a picture of the team.
GEORGETOWN TOURNAMENT
Below are the results from the CAYSA 6v6 tournament in Georgetown on November 20-21, 2004 for u9 boys and u9 girls teams.
There were three AUCSC teams representing the club in the semifinals of the u9 boys bracket, along with a Georgetown team. In one of the semifinal games, the AUCSC Buffaloes faced off against the AUCSC Team Raptors, with the Buffaloes defeating Team Raptor to advance to the Final. The other semifinal was AUCSC Rattlers vs Georgetown Blue Bazookas, with the Rattlers defeating the Blue Bazookas to advance to the Final. In the final, the Rattlers defeated the Buffaloes.

Champions: AUCSC Rattlers
Runner-up: AUCSC Buffaloes
In the u9 girls division, only 1 AUCSC made it into the semifinals, along with three Georgetown teams. The Firebolts won their semifinal game, making it to the finals. In the finals, the AUCSC was victorious to win the u9 girls division.

Many thanks to the U9, U10 and U11 Commissioners, VP's and other volunteers who helped to make the 1st Seasonal Recreational Championship tournament a success.
