GAME RULES (Changes in red)

  1. Adult players must be parents/guardians of a currently registered AUCSC player, or must be registered with the AUCSC office as the official head coach for a recreational (Division III or IV) AUCSC team. This does NOT include assistant coaches or parent helpers. These non-parent coaches must be at least 25 years old and designated by AUCSC as the head coach for the recreational team. The league will place these non-parent players on league teams as space is available. AUCSC parent/guardians will be placed on team rosters first, and remaining available roster spots will be given to these non-parent players. архангельская коллегия адвокатов
  2. Teams will be matched to play against other teams of similar skill and experiences as much as possible.
  3. Games are played on U9/U10 sized fields, 5 field players and goalkeeper, no offsides, all penalty kicks are indirect, no slide tackling. Goal kicks, corner kicks, and kick-offs are direct. Penalty point rules will be enforced.
  4. Guest players must meet the criteria in Rule #1 and be registered as a league substitute player before playing their first game. In addition, former players of the AUCSC parent league are now eligible to register as league substitute players. To be eligible a former player MUST have played in the AUCSC parent league in either the Fall 2002 and/or Spring 2003 league season. These players may register as "unattached" substitutes or may register as a substitute for a particular team. Team managers will be supplied with extra registration forms and are responsible for getting this information and the substitute fee from guest players prior to their playing in a league game.
  5. Team managers must submit a game roster to the referee prior to each game. Each team will be supplied with roster cards and pre-printed team roster lists. The team manager is responsible for verifying that the information on the roster card is correct.
  6. Team t-shirts should match in color and EVERY EFFORT should be made to ensure that ALL players have an AUCSC Parent League t-shirt at each game. ALL t-shirts must be uniquely numbered at all times. The team manager is responsible for making sure that the proper numbers are written on the roster cards.
  7. In any one game, you may only play with the number of players you have registered on your roster. If your roster size is 10 players, then you may only field 10 players per game. If your roster size is 11 players, then you may field 11 players per game.
  8. Minimum of 2 women field players at all times. A woman goalkeeper does not count as a field player.
  9. Maximum of 2 goals/player/game.
  10. Women goals count as 2 points per goal.
  11. Each team may have a maximum of 3 guest players per game.
  12. No professional players - former or current.
  13. If the referee determines the ball has been blocked by an intentional handball and thereby denying a goal, then the offending player shall be issued a yellow card and the goal is awarded. The goal will count as two points and will be scored as an "own goal," which is the designation used when a goal for one team is accidentally or otherwise scored by the opposing team. This means that the goal will not be counted as one of the two goals that can be scored by the player whose shot was blocked.
