Welcome to the 19th Annual College Coaches Classic! The AUCSC College Coaches Classic is pleased to enter its 19th year as a college showcase. Join us Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (January 28-30, 2005) at North East Metropolitan Park (NEMP) in Austin, Texas for this annual event. Host site of the Region III 2004 Southern Regionals, NEMP has 18 full sized fields to accommodate our games. The College Coaches Classic (U16-U19) has been Cancelled due to NEMP fields being closed. The AU*Capital Cup (U11-U15) will still play as scheduled. If you have any questions, please contact the tournament director. List of Attending College Coaches can be found here. Since its conception as the first college showcase in the United States, many top teams from across the country and Canada have played in the College Coaches Classic. As a result, numerous college coaches have recruited at our showcase. For a list of schools that have participated in the College Coaches Classic, click here. To enhance our showcase, two changes have been made to the format: Tournament Style Format - We will now play a tournament style format. Thus, there will be advancement games to determine an overall Champion. Guaranteed Four Games - We will now guarantee four games in our new Tournament style formatting. This will allow an increased opportunity for exposure in front of a variety of college coaches. Youth Tournament - Resulting from the newly merged club, AUCSC, the showcase has expanded to include U11-U15 teams. The Youth portion of the tournament will be called the AU*Capital Cup, and will be played the same weekend as the showcase. Format: Each team will play a minimum of four games and a maximum of six. Eligibility: Please note that we reserve the right to choose the teams who will give the best balance and highest level of play to the tournament. All players must have a current player pass or equivalent national association and medical release. Unlimited guest players will be permitted to a roster of eighteen (18). All teams that are not South Texas Youth Soccer Assn members will need to submit travel papers to their local State Association. Once you have accepted our invitation to play in our tournament, no refund of entry fee will be provided if your team decides to withdraw.
